Natalie Simone is here!!!!!

Well, at 1157 this morning, 25AUG2008, Natalie Simone Gillus entered the world at 8lbs 10oz and 20". She came from the womb with a head full of hair and a loud scream. Sorry for not having the pictures, I left the digital camera at the hospital. Have no fear, they will be on here tomorrow. Mother and daughter are doing extremely well and I could not be more proud and happy as a second time father. The nurses were excellent and Dr. German (Reutinger) was top notch. We had a newby nurse learning the ropes and with the help of her trainer, she did a bang up job.

Dani was afraid to approach Nat at first, but after some coaxing from her grandmother she held her and did not want to put her down. She kept saying, "I want to hold the doll baby" and cried when we had to take Nat from her.

Tomorrow, pics of Nat and Mommy will be here and also whatever extras I can post.

Until then, Adios, Au Revoir, Auf Weider sen, Good Night.

25August2008

Well everyone, Natalie Simone will be here within the next week. Veronica got word from Dr. German that she will be admitted at 0645 on Monday 25Aug. She will then have her water broken sometime that morning and an epidural inserted. Nat will be arriving before lunch time according to Dr. German. Isn't it amazing!!! You can now in modern times plan the day of birth of your child and set your schedule by it. This is great because I am going to enjoy these 2 weeks and 3 days I have planned to be off of work to enjoy with the new baby. Alas, in the middle of that 2 weeks I will be spayed (or is it neutered, I never can tell at times). I am taking the advice of good Ol' Bob Barker and controlling the population.

Until later Arreverdercii!!!

Olympics

Well the opening to the 29th Olympics has begun and it was spectacular. The Chinese put on a good show, which was to be expected seeing as they are trying to put the best face on for the world to see. I am looking forward to all of the events even the Dressage and gymnastics.

My wife has been given notice by Dr. German that she is 2cm dilated and it is a matter of time until Natalie Simone enters the world. I cannot wait for the event. I will be video taping the entire process from the ride to the hospital all the way to the departure home. I then will be undergoing my own procedure. That's right boys and girls, I'm getting spayed. Two little ones are enough for me and we do not want anymore surprises.

On the political front, The Obamessiah is continuing his blessing of the masses with his double speak and verbal gymnastics. All the while, McCainiac grates my nerves day in and day out with his antics. More on these two later. Did we hear about Sen. My Pretty Pony, his affair and love child. What a freakin' scumbag. This cat goes out right after he learns his wife's cancer is back and gets his groove on. Absolutely pathetic.

Batman-Best movie of the year so far

Alright the title may be overboard because I am a HUGE Batman fanatic, but all I can say is WOW!!! This movie makes you feel that the story of the Batman can be real-life. And the portrayal of the Joker by Heath Ledger is an Oscar worthy performance. I could not even tell it was Ledger in the part. All you see is this homicidal ,psychotic, criminally insane genius on the screen. Nothing of Ledger is there. He completely became the Joker. Christian Bale as usual is the perfect choice for Batman/Bruce Wayne and the characterization of Harvey Dent was spot on.

If you do one thing this weekend, go see this movie. You will not be disappointed.

I am a THOUSANDAIRE, YEAAHHHHH!!!!!

Well folks, today I received a check by FedEx from a scammer. This cat claims to be an employee of Ashley Furniture and he needs me to cash this $1950 check, keep 10% for myself and send the rest by Western Union to the Ukraine. Look at the e-mail I got from him;

All you need to do is to get it to your bank or any cashing store and get it cashed and like we agreed before that you deduct your 10% and get the remaining 90% wired via western union money transfer to our representatives in Ukraine sameday.Below is the western union details to send the money

This joker cannot even get his punctuation, spelling and sentences right. And the e-mail comes from a David Moore, but I am supposed to send the money to this Robertson Shodade guy;

Name:Robertson Shodade
City:Lugansk.
State:Lugansk.
Country:Ukraine
Zip Code:91045

I am no international expert, but I did not know the Ukraine had a US zip code.

I am bypassing Go, the $200 dollars and going straight to the police on tomorrow so they can deal with this crap. Now how did I get so lucky as to get this largess showered upon me? I do not know, but you kids be careful out there. The scammers are everywhere.

Natalie Simone is on the way

Well, the wife is 27-30 weeks (I never could keep count) pregnant and we are ready to welcome our second bundle of joy to the home. Veronica is getting bigger on the front side and we can see Nat kicking and stretching to get out. The entire pregnancy this time has taken a toll on Veronica. She has had morning sickness the entire time and other assorted pregnant woman trials. But the ordeal comes to a head 3 days sooner, according to Dr. German, because the original due date was wrong. I do not know how they make these calculations. I always thought that the baby REALLY determines when he/she is going to pop out.

Dani is happily expecting her new sister to play with her from day one. We have to explain to her that Nat will be too little to play right away, but she can help take care of her. By the way, Dani already has the name Emily Elizabeth picked out for the name of the new baby.

Until next time, Adios.

A bit tardy

I am going to have to get used to this new fangled thing called blogging. I know, I know. I have not been here in a few weeks, months really, but i am here now and that is what matters. Things that have happened since my last post. Veronica is now 5 months pregnant and we have not firmed up a name for the baby. We found out it is a girl and Natalie Elizabeth is what she is leaning towards. I can go either way with this, as long as the baby is not named Bombquisha or Emma Sue then all is well. I made the ice cream get together with the MINI club this past Monday and it was great seeing the crew. Got a few new members to hang with so I am looking forward to runs this season.

On to the political front. It seems as if the Obamessiah will be the nominee. I still am not counting out Hillarius Rodhamus. She has more lives than a house full of cats and the depths to which the Clintoniuses will go has no bottom. The Republican party is no better. We are presented with a candidate that seems as if he will say anything for a vote. He is claiming to be a conservative, yet he calls us racist if we question the Obamessiah and his associations. He is on the "global warming" crusade now, using the same junk science that Algore has used to dupe the public into ethyl alcohol (a dumb move) and carbon credits. I thought I would never see the day when carbon would be traded like Pokemon cards and people would get rich. Oh well, wht do you expect from the inventor of the internet.

On the job front, I must say that the supervisor I work for is the best thing since sliced bread. he treats people as if they are grown ups. None of the games, tricks and foolishness that I have had in the past. this cat is on the same vibe as the guys under him and I love that.

Until next time, Adios.

Two weeks in

Well, it has been 15 days since my last post and I thought I had better come to keep things up to date. I recently turned 39 y/o on Feb. 17. It was a joyous day spent with my wife and daughter. I watched the Daytona 500, drank a few brewskies and relaxed. Now that I have reached the end of the 30's, I now see that I have to crank up my plan for early retirement. There are a few things that I have to finish on my to-do list and now is the time to rev up the motors.

The political scene is getting more frustrating. McCainiac is the eventual nominee, whooppeee, and the cult of Obamessiah is getting sickening. The man is saying nothing and people are now fainting in the crowds. The time for Hillarius Rodhamus has come & gone and it would be bedt for her to shut down her campaign.

Until next time, Adios. (A little Latino flavor there)

First things first

Welcome to my page of expressions for the world to see. This "blog" thing is new to me, but I think I can manage to get by with a little help. Since the beginning of this year, I have found out that I will be a father for a second time, YEAHHHHH!!! It was a surprise to my wife and me. Danielle, our 2 y/o daughter, does not understand what is happening so far and I can only imagine the amount of jealousy she will display when the new baby arrives.

Another thing that just happened is my New York Football Giants won the Superbowl this past weekend. I was so glad that the Patsies came up short, Eli shut up his critics and the team silenced the media. I am still a little hesitant when it comes to the anal retentive Coach Coughlin, but I am warming to him because of the SB win.

In politics, I am reaaaaallllyyyy not liking the position the party I support is taking. First off, I am a conservative. My candidate was Fred Thompson, but he pulled out. I only support the republican party because they more closely are in line with my views. However, the fawning over Sen. John McCainiac, Chris Matthews' favorite republican, is giving me conniption fits. Who are these people voting for this man? He calls himself a conservative and a "foot soldier in the Reagan movement", but his actions in the last 10-15 years have been nothing like Pres. Reagan. The republican party had better seriously look at this guy because I will be writing in a choice for president if he is the nominee.
